Sunbit Banking
Overview
New Product: B2C Mobile Application Banking – I conducted moderated user interviews and usability studies before entering the design phase, collecting feedback on comparative products. This feedback was instrumental in shaping the design direction, as it illuminated user needs and preferences. By integrating these insights, we developed more intuitive and effective design solutions, which ensured the design was completed on time for handoff.
Conducting User Research
Sunbit’s newest product is unique, and its uniqueness lacked the usual opportunities to gain inspiration from similar products. Therefore, the experience designing this product created a fun and limitless opportunity that was expressively innovative.

Wireframes
The user interviews provided valuable insights that directly shaped the wireframes, optimizing the user journey for increased satisfaction. I then designed the first iteration of high-fidelity wireframes, integrating feedback from the interviews, which were presented to stakeholders and legal for review. After testing the new flows with both previous and new users, the positive feedback confirmed the direction, allowing me to proceed with designing additional user flows.

Final Wires and Handoff
The user feedback was highly positive. We interviewed five users—three repeat participants and two new users—who praised the ease and flow of the journey, while suggesting minor adjustments to enhance user comprehension. With this feedback, stakeholders and management approved the continuation of wireframe development. I incorporated color into the design to enhance visual clarity, improve user comfort, and emphasize key features, aiding navigation and creating a more intuitive experience.
Challenges
Management approached me regarding a team member’s dissatisfaction due to my absence from optional working sessions, exacerbated by a period of high workload and tight deadlines. I explained that, given the need to balance multiple projects and my inability to work unpaid overtime, I prioritized focusing on deliverables over attending non-essential meetings. I committed to addressing the team member’s concerns and improving communication, leading to a mutual understanding and a successful completion of the contract.
